In Monroe

We're actually in Monroe right now for Uncle Dale's wedding.  Last night Matt and John took Jeremy and I out for dinner.  Then the cool cousins went out on the town and Jeremy and I came back to the hotel and fell asleep watching the news.  I guess we're officially old people now - in fact, I'm just waiting for Jeremy to wake up so we can go get breakfast at Bob Evans - my AARP membership can't be far behind :) 

We're not sure how we feel about this midwest weather!  We're clearly already spoiled by California.  It's a little hot and humid here for our taste. 

New Baby Update

We just had another doctor's appointment today, and all is well with baby.  We even got to see it wave hello! 

We also went and had a bunch of blood work done - I think they took about a gallon.  Seriously, the nurse taking my blood had to have a second nurse come in and hand her vials as she filled them up because there were too many to fit in the little tray.  Yikes!  Of course, that didn't hurt nearly as much as the hours we had to spend on the phone with the insurance company trying to figure out which labs are covered by our insurance.  I wonder if our health insurance will cover blood pressure issues caused by dealing with their automated system.

I've been pretty busy at work, so I haven't had much of a "summer break" yet.  Hopefully we'll have more down time in July and August because June is pretty busy! 

We're looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.  Hopefully we'll get to see some of the Tomkinsons while we're in town for Dale's wedding.  See you soon!
