Reminded me of Dad

I saw this article in my RSS Reader this morning, and it reminded me of Dad:
NYTimes: How Much Soap To Use
It turns out that using too much dishsoap and/or laundry soap is actually bad and gets things LESS clean.  Poor Dad!

  1. What moron puts dishes in the dishwasher that haven't already been washed well enough to eat off of? Or doesn't run the dry cycle two or three times to get those plastic items dry? I suppose it's wasteful to run the dishwasher when there are only two milk glasses, two cereal bowls and a few pieces of silverware! Don't get me started on the laundry.........wash everything on hot with too much soap, rinse twice and dry on the lowest setting. I thought everyone knew that twice the recommended amount of bleach only makes sense. More is ALWAYS better. With all your schooling you should know you can't believe everything you read! As your mother, I suggest you start reading a more reliable source of news and information.
